HilBren Consulting Services was formed in 1981 and incorporated in New
Jersey in 1983. It's president and owner, Gary L. Tinkel, has been working in
the computer industry for 30 years and holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering
and Operations Research. In addition, Mr. Tinkel has attended degree
level courses
in Finance and advanced computer related training with Microsoft, Oracle,
Sybase, IBM and Btrieve.
Prior to founding HilBren Consulting, Mr. Tinkel has been associated with
several firms in technical and managerial positions. As Financial Products
Manager for General Automation, Mr. Tinkel was responsible for planning,
designing and implementing software projects for commercial banks. Prior to
this, Mr. Tinkel has held positions as an officer within the Foreign Exchange
department at Citibank, product director at Dean Witter and senior analyst at
the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
In addition, as a consultant, Mr. Tinkel has designed, programmed and
implemented systems for the Union Bank of Switzerland, Chemical Bank,
Morgan Guarantee Bank, HKSB
Corp. and several U.S. Government Agencies.
Among HilBren Consulting Services clients are Law firms, Commercial Banks,
Brokerage firms, Medical supply firms, several Software Consulting companies, a Food products
supply concern and a Medical Center.
HilBren Consulting Services has been a member
for over 15 years of the
Independent Computer Consultants Association,
a not for profit association dedicated to helping consultants provide
professional services to their clients. During that time, Mr. Tinkel
has served as President and Treasurer of the New Jersey chapter.
